Recipe Braised Pork Belly with Abalone

Braised pork belly is a delicious dish. Its distinctive flavor and texture are an ideal option for all those who want to enjoy this often underrated part of the otherwise very popular animal in the kitchens of the world. But, when pork belly is combined with Abalone, a truly amazing combination of food can be produced. Best of all, it is neither complicated nor demanding to make. Here is a recipe that will allow anyone to make a fantastic braised pork belly with Abalone.

The ingredients needed for a dish serving two people includes about 500 grams of pork belly, some oil, a tablespoon of soy sauce, salt, sugar, chopped ginger and chopped garlic. As for Abalone, three will be sufficient.

Firstly, the pork belly should be sliced into small cubes and gently fried in oil on a low to medium heat. As soon as the meat becomes brown, it should be removed from the heat. Then, the belly should be placed in a pot with some salt, sugar, soy sauce, chopped ginger and chopped garlic. The pot and its content should be placed on heat to boil and then left to simmer for about 45 minutes. Once this time has passed, the Abalone should be placed in the mix and the entire pot's content stirred vigorously. At the same time, the mixing process should not be violent so that it does not destroy the texture of either pork belly or Abalone. The pot should be left on medium to low heat until the content becomes thick like a sauce.

After this, the pot should be removed and left to cool down a bit. When ready, the braised pork belly with Abalone should be garnished with a bit of parsley and served. With this simple process, the dish can turn out to be simply irresistible.
