Recipe for Bird's Nest with Chicken Porridge

Below is the standard recipe:

20 grams of dried bird's nest

A tiny chicken meat

50 grams of chicken fillet

1/4 cup of raw rice

6 cups of water

1 tsp. of salt

1.) For one hour, submerge the Dragon Brand's dried bird's nest in water.

2 .) Run the rice through water briefly then set it aside to drain.

3.) Use boiling water to scald the chicken fillet and meat for 3 minutes. Afterward, rinse and drain them.

4.) Boil the 6 cups of water then put in the chicken to make a stock. Let it simmer for an hour or until the stock is just about only 4 cups.

5.)Add the rice then increase the heat to high to bring the stock to a boil. Slowly lower it to medium-low until the rice starts showing signs of breaking up.

6.) You can now include the bird's nest. Continue to cook for 30 minutes before adding the chicken fillet and the salt. Cover the cooking pot and let it continue to cook for another half hour.

7.) Take out the chicken meat and, afterward, remove the chicken fillet and cool it. Cut it into shreds once cooled.

8.) This is only optional, but you can add more salt to taste on the porridge. Add the chicken fillet again then cook it for another 5 minutes before serving.
